Willow bark Tea
An ancient remedy for headaches and migraines is given new life in our NutraHead tea. Willow bark tea has been used for centuries as a natural painkiller, easing everything from headaches to arthritis.
Famously, willow bark is a natural source of salicin – a chemical that is very similar to aspirin. Unlike aspirin, however, willow bark is gentle on the stomach. An anti-inflammatory, it pairs well with the other inflammation-fighting ingredients in this tea, such as ginger, cinnamon, and feverfew.
Our team of expert pharmacists and nutritionists have chosen willow bark as one of the main ingredients in NutraHead because of its ability to ease the pain from headaches and migraines.
FEVERFEW TEA FOR MIGRAINES
A popular natural remedy for migraines, feverfew tea is said to inhibit the production of prostaglandins and serotonin, both of which play a role in causing migraines.
A member of the daisy family, feverfew has a long history of use as a natural painkiller. As well as treating migraines, it has traditionally been used for arthritis, menstrual cramps, and fevers. It has been used as a herbal remedy for headaches since the time of the ancient Greeks – a use that continues into the modern-day.
Like willow bark, feverfew has anti-inflammatory properties that may help to reduce the intensity and frequency of migraines and headaches. That’s why we chose it as one of the ingredients in our NutraHead herbal tea blend.
